Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises)

Your CRM, on your own servers, supported by a team that still knows how to work on it.

Microsoft Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement (on-premises)

Many organisations, government agencies, and regulated industries still run Dynamics CRM on their own servers instead of Microsoft’s cloud. Usually it comes down to a data residency requirement, a network that can’t rely on constant internet access, or a security policy written before cloud CRM was even an option. None of that makes on-premises the wrong choice it’s a legitimate, supported way to run Dynamics, and Microsoft still supports it.

What’s changed is everything around it. Most of Microsoft’s newer capabilities, including nearly all the AI and Copilot features, now ship cloud-first, and a shrinking number of partners still take on on-premises work at all, let alone an older version of it. So a lot of these environments end up running on customizations nobody currently on staff wrote, patched by whoever’s willing to open the server.
